President of Changhzou University visits and comforts the international students who stayed on campus during the Spring Festival

When the spring festival comes, in the morning of January 25, Chen Qun, secretary of the CPC party committee, Dai Guohong, deputy secretary of the CPC party committee and vice president, Xu Shoukun, member of the standing committee of the CPC party committee and vice president,  successively went to the apartment of international students in the Xi Taihu campus and Ke Jiaocheng campus to visit and comfort the foreign students who stayed in school during the spring festival, and sent blessings for the spring festival. The heads of the international department, the graduate student affairs department, the student affairs office, the safety and security department, the logistics management office, the management committee of the Xi Taihu lake campus, the logistics service center, the relevant schools and other departments, accompanied by the administrators of international students, participated in the activity.

Chen Qun asked about the learning condition and daily life of international students on campus, as well as the epidemic situation in their countries, reminding all the students to protect themselves well during the epidemic, and keeping in touch with parents and teachers. He suggests that students should take advantages of the holiday to improve themselves and the administrators of international students should solve their problems  in a timely manner. Subsequently, the school leaders and the international students made dumplings and cut window flowers together to experience the festive atmosphere of the Chinese New Year. The care and blessings from the university make students feel warm. Some international students say that although they cannot return to their homes and reunite with their families, the care and blessings brought by the school leaders make them feel warm, and they will remember the warm words, abide by the relevant epidemic prevention and regulations of the university, do a good job in personal protection, live up to the cultivation and trust of the school, and spend a safe, peaceful and meaningful new year in Changzhou University.

It is reported that there are  69 international students in total stayed on campus during the winter holiday this year. The International Office and the School of  Overseas Education arrange personnel on duty to take care of international students staying in school, remind them to pay attention to their own safety, take protective measures, and organize colorful cultural activities to ensure that international students spend a safe and peaceful spring festival.
