According to Regulations of International Students Registration and Management at Changzhou University (Trial) and Changzhou University Regulations of major changing Undergraduate Students, the work arrangement for major changing for international students is as follows:

1.Work Flow and Time Arrangement

From December 1, 2021 to December 14, 2021, each school should determine the acceptable number of students transferring in on the basis of its running conditions and report the result to international office. At the same time, other details for evaluation, including principles and methods of admission, assessment methods, assessment subjects, assessment time and place, etc., should be provided to international office. The assessment form can be written examination or interview, which mainly evaluates students' language ability, comprehensive quality and specialty, as well as students' adaptability to the applied major.

From January 10 to February 20, 2022, students should submit official application for major changing. Each student can only choose one target major. Students need to submit the electronic and paper version application form to the International Student administrators of corresponding schools. If applicants have competition awards, social practice experience or other specialties, they need to provide supporting materials when submitting the application form.

From February 22 to February 27, 2022, schools of target majors should conduct the assessment and admission, and submit the list of qualified students to international office and the Academic Affairs Office for review. The result should be publicized after being approved by the school. This work is expected to be finished before March 15.

2.Notice

(1) Undergraduate international students who are interested in or specialized in other majors can apply for changing majors. The application form shall be submitted to the international office and the Academic Affairs Office for approval after being approved by the original school and the target school. (2) major changing is accepted among four English-taught majors only. Students in science majors can change to other science majors and liberal arts majors, but students in liberal arts majors can only change to other liberal arts majors.

(3) On the basis of fully understanding the background knowledge of each major, students should apply for changing majors according to their actual situation. Once approved by the target major, they shall not return to the original major or change to other majors. Before the application for major changing is approved by the academic affairs office and the related schools, students shall participate in corresponding activities according to the requirements of their original major, and shall not carry out any activities in the identification of other majors without authorization.

(4) Students can graduate only after they meet the requirements of the professional training program. The missed courses must be taken and the course selection fee shall be paid according to the credits.
